New Intakes: After we provide our new dogs with their medical needs and finish with their behavioral evaluations, we will then post their Adoption Bios on this page. We also announce all new dogs coming into Rescue on our Social Media Pages.
Thank you for your patience. It takes us some time to get to know our new dogs prior to matching with our perspective Adoptive or Working homes.
Our primary goal is to make a good match, therefore it is so very important to us that our dogs are happy and our adopters are just as happy with their new family member.
Sully Located in Green Cove Springs, Florida Approximately 1 to 2 year old, Male, Bi Color German Shepherd Adoption Bio Pics and or Vid posted Below
SULLY Sully Adoption Bio: Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp)
Adoption Requirements: No Rental Homes
Health:
Sully is approximately a 1 yr to 2 yr old Bi Color, Male German Shepherd. He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and he is microchipped. He arrived in Rescue underweight and still needs to gain atleast 10 to 15 more lbs to be at his ideal weight.
Rescue & Behavior:
Sully was Rescued from a rural small Shelter he was picked up as a stray dog we don't have any history.
Sully has a lot of puppy in him and he sometimes likes to play rough with other dogs so a dog that matches his size or bigger would be an ideal playmate. He just doesn't know how big and awkard he is, reminds me of a silly teenager. Sully listens really well and is very good in the home. He has had a few accidents in his crate and we are working on that, he is getting better. Sully is shy when first meeting new people and will bark but calms down after proper introductions.
Sully loves to play fetch and lay by your feet while watching TV. He is such a sweet and adorable Shepherd that deserves a loving, quiet patient home.

RAYNA Located in Green Cove Springs, Florida Approximately 1 yr old Red Sable Female German Shepherd Scroll below pics and or vid for Adoption Bio
RAYNA Rayna Adoption Bio: Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp) Age approximately 1 - 2 yrs old.
Adoption Requirements: German Shepherd Experience preferred especially with working lines No Rental Homes
Health:
Rayna is Spayed, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention. She is currently heartworm positive and is under treatment using slow kill method, utilizing Doxy and Advantage Multi. Slow kill does not restrict exercise and she does not show any signs of heart stress. Rayna is active and loves to play Ball!
Rescue & Behavior:
Rayna was Rescued from a high kill small rural shelter. She is approximatley 1 to 2 years old. Rayna is very driven and ball/toy obsessed. She would make a great S&R or Police working dog and would definitely blossom with someone who has Working K9 Experience. Rayna thrives on learning new tasks and really needs the mental and physical stimulation. I personally would love to see her in a Police K9 job but if we can't find her an agency or handler then someone that can give her the time, attention, physical, mental activity she needs would be in her best interest. I am really hoping there is someone special that will adopt this Amazing Girl!

****ADOPTED NO LONGER AVAILABLE**** CHARLIE Charlie Adoption Bio: German Shepherd Experience preferred Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Rescue Shep Camp) 6 Month old Black and Red, Bi/Color Puppy
Adoption Requirements: No Rental Homes Must have Fenced in yard
Health:
Charlie will be neutered, up to date on vaccinations, flea, tick, heartworm prevention and microchipped.
Rescue & Behavior:
Charlie was an owner surrender because the dogs in that home did not get along with Charlie. Charlie was acquired previously from a lady that was wanting a dog to train for Service dog work but Charlie was not a good fit for that individual's daughter. Subsequently Charlie was rehomed 2xs, and he is now at Rescue Shep Camp.
Charlie is crate trained, semi housebroken, loves to play but can play rough. Working on his behavior with guarding food. Toy and Treat motivated Charlie would benefit with someone experienced with German Shepherd behavior he can be a bit stubborn. No small children his play biting is too hard, we are working on that issue.
Charlie is shy when first meeting people new but warms up to someone that knows how to properly introduce themselves. He needs additional training and will no doubt thrive with someone that has the right home enviornment and GSD background.

Phoenix Adopted No longer Available Located in Green Cove Springs, Florida Phoenix is approximately 1 year old or younger Black and Red Female German Shepherd Scroll below pics or vid for Adoption Bio
Phoenix Adopted No Longer Available Phoenix Adoption Bio: Location Green Cove Springs, Florida
Adoption Requirements: No Rental Homes Must have Fenced in yard
Rescue and Health:
Phoenix was Rescued from a very Rural, high kill shelter. She was owner surrendered but we suspect this person also abused her. She was brought in along with two other dogs in the home. We see evidence of Abuse when Phoenix slinks down if something is picked up from the ground. She also arrived in Rescue emaciated she needs atleast 15 to 20 more lbs. Phoenix will be spayed on April 23rd, she has been dewormed, is current on flea, tick, heartworm prevention and fully vaccinated.
Behavior:
Phoenix is a very sweet dog, she doesn't know how to play with toys but she does like to chase the other dogs when they run after a ball. She sometimes can get too pushy but listens really well. She will need a patient, loving home to thrive in. Would do best with someone that has had experienced with Shepherds that had trauma in their life. Tested with cats and she was fine with our cats but did give a low growl when they hissed at her, she was easily corrected with verbal command. Crate trained, and good in the car.
