After we provide our new dogs with their medical needs and finish with their behavioral evaluations, we will then post their Adoption Bios on this page. We also announce all new dogs coming into Rescue on our Social Media Pages.
Thank you for your patience. It takes us some time to get to know our new dogs prior to matching with our perspective Adoptive or Working homes.
Our primary goal is to make a good match, therefore it is so very important to us that our dogs are happy and our adopters are just as happy with their new family member.
ROCCO ADOPTED NO LONGER AVAILABLE Rocco is a 1-year-old Male German Shepherd DOB: 10/14/2024 Adoption Bio is located below pics and or vid
ADOPTED NO LONGER AVAILABLE Rocco Adoption Bio: Must Have Fenced in Yard German Shepherd Experience preferred Age 1 DOB 10/14/2024 Location: Green Cove Springs, Florida (Shep Rescue Camp)
Rescue & Health: Rocco was an owner surrender because his former owner is very sick undergoing cancer treatment, as well as losing his home. He reached out to us for Rescue assistance. He originally bought Rocco from a couple that were in their 80s from a Craigslist ad and only had him for 3 months. Rocco is scheduled for neuter surgery on October 28th.
Behavior: Rocco is a very sweet boy, extremely energetic. He didn't have a good foundation and as a result he is not very well socialized around other animals. He is a dominant dog and can be pushy with other dogs which leads to stress and tension. He will chase cats so we feel it is best if Rocco is the only pet in the home or someone with experienced dealing with high drive/dominant dogs. Rocco is very smart, loves to play fetch and just Loves his Toys. Rocco is independent natured because of past experience. Rocco was left alone for long periods of time in a back yard as a result of his original owner's neglect Rocco developed tail chasing behavior and will sometimes dig. Rocco craves someone that will be able to address his mental and physical needs and teach him proper manners. Rocco is crate trained and enjoyed long walks and car rides with his past owner he only had him for 3 months. Rocco really needs a Stable, Loving, Supportive Home that's what he truly deserves.
Adoption Information: If you would like to provide Rocco, a loving forever home he deserves or need additional information regarding our adoption process please email me direct on [email protected] or submit an online application via our website www.k-9services.net go to Adoption Application Information page. An application needs to be completed prior to arranging a meet and greet.

Bella arrived infested with fleas and worms she is now clear and current on flea, tick, heartworm prevention, and microchipped.
